New Training Cycle
Welcome to the “Rocky Mountain High” Training Cycle:
It’s our third training cycle of the year and with this phase we will be focusing on leveling up your cardiorespiratory endurance while keeping your strength endurance gains from the Semi-Super Hero cycle.

Think lungs on fire, legs that don’t quit, and a body that moves like a machine—because with this cycle, you're not just training for fitness, you're training for performance.
🎯 Here’s what you can expect from the next 12 weeks:
💨 1. Cardiorespiratory Endurance
We’re going to pop the hood and give you the tools to rebuild your engine. Through structured intervals, aerobic capacity work, and smart progressions, we’ll help you go longer, recover faster, and push your threshold without burning out.
💪 2. Strength Endurance Maintenance
We’re not letting those gains from Semi-Super Hero Cycle go anywhere. You’ll continue to see time-under-tension work and longer sets in functional our strength lifts—think sustainable power, not just brute force.
🧗♂️ 3. Relative Strength
Whether it’s gymnastics, Olympic lifting, or high-volume functional movement, we’ll keep building your ability to move your body efficiently and explosively. Your pull-ups, push-ups, and barbell work will all feel stronger and sharper.
📌 The Benchmarks: Track Your Progress
We’ve selected 4 benchmark workouts that will be woven into the cycle to help you measure improvement over time:
Nancy: 5 rounds for time of 400m run + 15 overhead squats (95/65): A cardio and mobility classic.
Fran: 21-15-9 of thrusters and pull-ups: Fast, furious, and always humbling.
Ray: One of our homegrown heroes. This workout blends bodyweight gymnastics, barbell skills and engine work into one brutal dose of hybrid fitness.
The Avocado Mile: Our own spicy twist on stamina. It’ll challenge your lungs, legs and your mindset. You’ll love to hate it.
With Nancy & Fran, you’ve got years of exposure to compare yourself to and with Ray and The AM, you’ll be setting first time benchmarks to be tested in the future.
🏁 The Finish Line: In-House Competition (September)
To wrap up this cycle, we’ll put your gains to the test with a late September in-house competition.
This will be your moment to showcase everything you’ve built: your grit, your gas tank, your ability to endure and dominate.
Expect a fun event, a tough test, and a chance to throw down with your training partners in a supportive, high-energy environment.
