I love the beginning, the beginning of the year, the month the week? It often feels like a fresh start- some kind of made up blank canvas for us right?
You know- we say things like, i’ll start on Monday, or at the first of the month or my favorite on New Years day. Guess what- we’re just lying to ourselves, we are procrastinating … you know its’ true.
So, guess what it’s Monday- but it doesn thave to be- you can start anything, anytime, any day. But you just have to chose and commit.
So let’s talk about the next 30 days, it’s a “new month” where will you be in 30 days?
In 30 days- what will you wish you would have done to help you work toward your best self, inside the gym and outside the gym?
Have you ever heard of this idea of writing a letter to yourself to some date in the future- like 1 year , 5 years? There is even a website call dear futur me you can write it there and pick a date to send it to yourself.
But today we are going to break it down into something more tangible, more doable. In 30 days, you’re sitting there reflecting on your choices, actions over the past 30 days.
Here are some question to consider in 30 days;
What are you proud of?
Did you attend the gym as often as you wanted?
Did you go on a date with your spouse?
Did you have any fun?
Did you take time for yourself?
What did you accomplish?
How did you work towards the person you want to be?
Did your actions/calendar line up with your goals? Fitness, financial? Relationships?
Or what did you wish you wouldnt have done/ or wish you would have done?
What can you do today to start making the next month line up so that in 30 days?
It’s up to you – you have to be intentional with your time, your days your months, otherwise they will just pass by.
So I would encourage you today….
Sit down with your calendar, your friend, your fianciances -what ever area of life you might want to make some change and put it in your calendar.
Put your fitness in, and commit to it for the next 30 days!
