The Paleo Challenge: Recap


Well there it is.  28 days of Paleo Eating. Did you survive?  Yes! Was the food bland and tasteless?  Did you starve to death?  Was it really as Bad as you thought it’d be? No, of course not.

Rarely are things as bad as we believe them to be.  Most of the time, we just don’t like change very much.  And for a lot of you, going Paleo these last 4 weeks brought a lot of changes!!  So Let the CELEBRATION Begin.

Over the last 4 weeks, we have seen so many improvements with you and we know you’ve seen them too.  Performance has Improved (PULL-UPS anyone?) Body Composition has Improved (who NEEDS a new wardrobe?) and most importantly YOU Improved.  You broke your habits, You got out of your comfort zone, You challenged yourself, and You Succeeded.

When we decided to put this Paleo Challenge together, we wanted to make sure that it was about more than just inches lost or pounds dropped.  We didn’t want it to be,

“CrossFit Vantage’s 24 day Paleo Crash Diet.”  

This Challenge was about getting you to experiment with a lifestyle outside your comfort zone.  To think about food that’s outside the box.  We wanted you to try something maybe you’ve heard about but were reluctant to act on.

And it’s because of that, that we are so Excited for ALL of You.

The last 4 weeks have been an introduction, a first date if you will, with Paleo “diet” Nutrition.  From talking with those of you that took this Challenge, we’re excited to hear many of you will be staying with your new found Nutrition.  You’ve all helped us reach one of OUR goals.

For those of you who decided to pass on This Challenge, all is not lost.  After we get through the nutritional mine field that started on Halloween and goes through the holiday’s you’ll have your chance to accept the Challenge.
