Tis the Season…

“The holiday’s are stressful” I’ve heard this phrase for as long as I can remember. Christmas Shopping, Parties, Deadlines, Work, Family, Sweets, So much to do so little time. Doesn’t this sound like everyother time of year. We often use these next few weeks as an excuse to not get into the gym. We’re too busy. Or we allow ourselves to cannon ball into crappy nutrition. Too much temptation. Well, I call BullSh*t. Life is stressful, Yes. Life is chaotic, Yes. I’ve got a ton to do and no time to do it, Yes. But this is the most important time to get into the gym and keep training.

Life’s got you stressed, me to, but don’t you feel better after you blow off some steam in the gym? Life is chaotic and everyone needs something from you NOW, tell me about it. Isn’t it good to take an hour and focus on YOU. Everyone in the office is bringing in cookies and cakes and yummy sweetness “I just can’t resist”…oh yeah, this is the prefect time to stop training.

Just because there’s magic in the air and the feeling of vacation in your heart, dont’ let yourself slip off into the deep end of gluttony and sloth. Make the time to train, Give yourself an hour to escape the stresses of “Real” life. You’ll feel better for it, You’ll be better for it.
