Born and raised in Southern California with a younger brother, I grew up pretty active with both baseball and Tae Kwon Do at a competative level. Only weighing 120lbs by the ending of my senior year of high school I was determined to play baseball at the college level. After many months of training I was told by the head coach of a college team that I was “too small” and needed to gain some weight. Hoping to find a way to gain some weight/muscle to continue playing baseball, is when my old travel baseball coaches introduced me to CrossFit. I was hooked ever since I did my first WOD in the summer of 2009 and decided to end my baseball career to pursue a life of health/fitness.

My goal as a coach is to help others pursue their goals, and to show them that they can achieve anything they want physically and mentally.

Born in Las Vegas, NV, raised in Beaver Falls, PA, I have been active and on the go since I was young. I was born into a military family, dad being a fighter pilot and my mom being a master sergeant, I was taught at an early age to work hard. At the age of 3 I started gymnastics and never looked back and I ended my career at the age of 18 with one national championship win under my belt. Throughout those years I coached other gymnasts starting at the age of 5 to about 16 and loved being able to share my passion with them. After highschool, I moved to Charlotte, NC in 2006 to attend Belmont Abbey College where I graduated in 2009 with my Bachelors in Business Management/Marketing. I made Charlotte my residence for a few years after that and then in 2014 I decided I wanted a challenge and moved to Denver, CO.

I fell in love with Crossfit in 2012 when a friend of mine moved back from South Korea where she had become a Crossfit addict and decided to share her passion with me. I made a huge life change and Crossfit was the biggest part. It not only got me into the greatest shape but it emotionally and mentally changed my life. I really love helping others feel happy and their best and by coaching I get to do both of those.

I was born and raised in Denver, CO. I have been passionate about sports and fitness since I can remember – playing every sport that I could since I was a child. My favorite past athletic activities include football, baseball, track, wrestling, weight lifting and body building. I started CrossFit in the summer of 2015, when my wife and I decided to change up our gym routine. I was hooked after my first class. I fell in love with the intensity of the workouts and the supportive community that grinds together through every workout. Not only have I participated in sports as an athlete, but also as a coach. My previous coaching experience includes over a decade of coaching high school wrestling programs starting as an assistant and strength/conditioning coach and working my way up to head coach. One of my greatest passions in life is helping others reach their goals in becoming a better version of themselves and achieve feats they never dreamed were possible. By coaching CrossFit I have the privilege and opportunity to pursue this passion everyday.

I was born and raised in Duluth, MN and moved to Denver in 2011. I Met my husband Jerry shortly after and we got married in Oct. 2014. I found Vantage when a friend brought me to a ‘Share the Love’ Saturday WOD. I struggled with being over weight my whole life and had reached a breaking point. Discovering Vantage changed all of that for me. Since October 2015, I’ve lost 40 pounds and many inches, but more importantly have learned how to treat my body well, love myself, and gained a whole lot of confidence!

I joined the Vantage Team in June of 2016. I love working here because of the community! The members and coaches have always been so friendly and welcoming and I’m happy I get to be a part of the team and do that for other people too. I hope that through my job here and through my story other people who are interested in getting in shape, but are nervous to try it will see that it really is possible for people from any fitness background to find success here at Vantage.

Born in Coco Beach, FL, raised in Rock Hill, NY, I have played soccer, baseball, skied, snowboarded and golfed most of my life. Growing up with twin younger brothers made everything a competition. I played soccer competitively up until my Junior year of high school both in school and travel teams.

I moved out to Colorado in 2009 to attend Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. My sophomore year at CSU was when I discovered Crossfit. A couple of co-workers were talking about it every day we worked together for a couple of months and kept trying to get me to try it out. Finally I gave in and dropped in for a class at Wild Horizons Crossfit. I loved it almost immediately, I had been going to the gym for years prior but never had a workout that was that intense since my days playing soccer. The community was welcoming, and it was a place where everyone was coming to become better versions of themselves.

Born in Chicago, IL. I grew up playing every sport I could, getting an opportunity to stay active, and hang with my best friend. I played basketball, roller hockey, football, golf, and BMX. I was so active, I had broken four bones and five surgeries by the time I turned 18.

I moved to Colorado for college and found a fervent love for the outdoors. Although I stayed active and competed in races, I never found a consistent routine for working out: I trained hard for races and ate like Homer Simpson in the offseason.

While training for an Olympic Triathlon in 2016, a friend recommended supplementing my training with CrossFit. I dropped in at a local box pretty confident of my endurance- but I got rocked (wall balls). I was hooked after that and I started going several times a week; finally finding a routine and healthy rhythm in my life. Now, the pursuit of fitness is a value for my whole family (My wife, Lani, and my two girls, Reegan and Myla).

My life’s purpose is to help others realize their full potential through coaching and teaching. Whether I am facilitating for large organizations, teaching Graduate School, or Coaching, I am in my happy place.
