💥 Next Weightlifting Cycle: Get Ready to Split, Clean, and Jerk Like a Pro 💥

Weightlifters, fitness fanatics, and anyone who’s ever stared at a barbell and thought, “One day…”—that day is now.

We’re kicking off a brand new Weightlifting Class Cycle, and it’s tailor-made to help you move better, lift heavier, and feel more powerful than ever. Whether you're chasing your first technically sound clean and jerk or refining your split jerk like you're headed to the Olympic trials, this cycle is for you.

🏋️‍♂️ What We’re Focusing On:

1. Split Jerk Technique

The split jerk is like the mic drop of Olympic lifting. It’s explosive, precise, and demands serious coordination. We’ll break it down, build it up, and drill it until you feel stable, confident, and efficient under heavy loads.

You’ll be focusing on:

  • Foot placement and timing

  • Proper dip/drive mechanics

  • Overhead lockout confidence

  • Recovery positioning

Whether you’ve been power jerking everything or just feel like Bambi on ice in the split, we’ve got you.

2. Clean & Jerk Power & Technique

This is the meat and potatoes of Olympic lifting—and we’re about to serve up something delicious. You’ll be dialing in technique on the clean (hello, speed through the middle!) and sharpening your ability to transfer that power seamlessly into the jerk.

Expect:

  • Position-focused drills

  • Pause cleans and jerk variations

  • Complexes that develop bar path awareness and speed

  • LOTS of reps with intention

Think of this as your movement “tune-up” that also builds horsepower.

3. Core & Overhead Stamina

Because if your midline is soft or your overhead position collapses under pressure—guess what? That beautiful lift turns into a garage sale. So, we’re locking down the trunk and building the kind of shoulder and core endurance that makes holding a barbell overhead feel almost easy.

We’ll build stamina with:

  • Overhead holds and walks

  • Tempo and isometric core work

  • Rotational stability training

  • Controlled fatigue-based finishers

This won’t just help you in Olympic lifting—it’ll translate to better metcons, stronger posture, and more confidence under load.
