Today is the eve of the South West Regionals for the 2012 Reebox CrossFit Games and I can’t help but think about time. I know the hours they’ve spent on their gymnastics, the moments they’ve spent pulling themselves under the bar, the weeks of double days. All of this work for a brief moment in time. For one weekend.

This is to be admired. Not just for the physical beauty of the sport but for the focus, determination, effort these individuals show day in and day out. We are given such a brief time to do anything and everything we dream of. It’s time that we won’t get back.
Many people squander it.
Some people trudge thru it.
Others wander until it’s gone.
And a few are focused, determined and give everything they’ve got to achieving what they want.

Where do you fall?

Even though most of us will never walk out to compete at regionals that doesn’t mean we can’t dedicate the time we have to improving ourselves mentally as well as physical.
